Being In The Moment

What does "Being the Moment" really mean? Being in the moment means to having the abilty of getting lost in your character and having to live through the character that is being portrayed. Living in the moment is living  your character, but not only understanding your character but from the heart of the character. The audience must believe you are the character, and not acting a role.

So You Think YOU Can Dance?!

While...I really CANT dance but I can try :)
Tonight was so was live! I had so much fun going to You Think You Can Dance Canada with my class and friends. Watching it on tv and then watching live was wayyyy better! The lighting on the set was the best part. Even thought it took like five good hours to start the damn show, it was all worth it. Its so sad when you see people get eliminated from the show. If just makes you wanna cry. After the show, we got the autographs from all the judges after the show( Trey is my girl! Shes so pretty). It was just something everyone had to experience for themselves.
Good night, and sweet dreams! - NDA.

Family Matters

There are so many things to be thankful in life. Life alone is something to be thankful for. Life is a precious gift given from God. The first thing to be thankful for is Jesus. Every night before going to sleep, I pray. The first sentence always starts with is “ Lord, I want to thank you for all you have done for me.” Of all the many great things he does for me, I can’t even list off, because it’s continuous. For this Thanksgiving it wasn’t all about the food that was right infront of my dinner table, it was the people that surrounded the dinner table. This Thanksgiving my sister Evelyn came down from Waterloo to spend the holiday with us. On Sunday we all went to dinner at East Side Marios(don’t you love their free garlic bread and garden salads?). I couldn’t remember the last time where the Asantes kids has gone out as a whole family before. We ate, laughed, remised about the pasted, talked about the future and what going on in all are lives now. That Sunday day made a realized how thankful for having people in my life that love me as much as I love them. Family Matters! -NDA.

Keep Dreaming.

Blogging Time!

Hello my new blogger friends, this is my FIRST time actually creating a blog and it feels good. All summer my friend Sharon was addicted blogging, and I always wondered why. And now I have discovered why… its actually really fun. Before I liked just reading a lot of blogs about fashion and new R&B music, but commenting back about the posts was not my style. Now that I have my own blog site I can say what’s on my mind, write about what I like, share to you the most memorial times of my life so far, and more importantly just do me. I’m excited for this! I remember when I was eleven years old, and I had a diary. It was a purple hardcover Winnie the Pooh with the lock and the key. I used to do everything in that thing! Draw, cut and paste pictures from the flyers, write about what happened in school, write about my boy crushes, my troubles, and list off my Christmas wish list. It was just something I could to do when I was bored, sad, upset, or frustrated. Writing about the big or even little problems I encounter as an eleven year old girl made me discover it truly helped express the way I was feeling. So now, lets just say this blog is my ‘personal diary’ where I can express myself. I’ll be blogging every single day so make sure your read every day! -NDA.
